A middle office officer is required for a expanding investment bank based in London. The bank is aiming to build a trading and specialised finance business in London.


The middle office is involved in an extensive range of the banks activities, particularly those of the treasury capital markets business. This involves being able exposed to and understanding of all of the products traded by the treasury department.


As a new organisation, there is also much scope for project type work to continue developing the systems and processes in improve the performance of the team.


Daily duties and main responsibilities include: reconciling between front and back office system; monitoring and management of collateral; investigation of any trade booking or valuation issues; set up of new clients; set up of new security static data; importation and monitoring of rates and prices; and end of day pricing.


Good middle office experience is ideal, and you will demonstrate a broad understanding of financial products. The role demands a high level of accuracy and competence.
