An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Telephone Dealing Team Leader to join a leading global provider of investment management products and services. With a great depth and breadth of expertise, they help clients achieve their goals through a wide array of strategies, in every major sector and asset class through various distribution channels. Their clients include some of the world's leading corporations, governments, unions, foundations, endowments, mutual funds and high net worth individuals.

The Telephone Dealing Team Leader is the manager responsible for the day-to-day management
of a team of seven administrators within the Telephone Dealing Team, whose
main role is to handle sales and repurchases by telephone. It will be your responsibility to ensure
at all times that dealing execution is timely and client instructions are carried
out with 100% accuracy. You will control all key processes and manage the associated risks
ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

In this role you will allocate and monitor the workload of the section to ensure all activities are
performed within deadlines and regulatory requirement. You will ensure suitable
staffing and flag any shortfalls to Team Manager and ensure staff are satisfactorily trained to carry
out their roles effectively. Provide coaching and training to direct reports to
ensure training and development needs are met. You will identify issues and report to Team
Manager to ensure client expectations are met and managed.

As a senior member of the Telephone Dealing Team, the Team Leader must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate a record of effective people management and technical skills. Although directly accountable to the Team Manager, the successful Team Leader will be expected to demonstrate initiative in the organisation and prioritisation of the team's day to day tasks whilst taking into account approved processes and procedures. The successful candidate will need to have mutual funds experience and previous experience of leading and motivating a team.
