An equity valuations analyst is required for one of the world's forerunning and highly respected investment banks. The role is based in London.


The individual will be responsible for distributing accurate valuation statements and escalating any issues with sensitive clients to management. There is also a need to look at the functions undertaken in the role and question the controls around these functions, and whether they 'should' be sitting with the indications team in operations - as opposed to trading / sales etc.


With increased product complexity and expanding volumes the indications team faces a number of challenges in ensuring the scalability of the department's functions whilst maintaining optimal control and efficiency. As such, in addition to the day-to-day functions there is continual focus on looking for automated solutions. Therefore, we will expect the candidate to build good relationships with it and push them to deliver solutions.


Proven analytical, financial or mathematically ability is favoured. Candidates will have proven exposure to the hedge fund industry, combined with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, being able to communicate clearly and concisely, moderating style and delivery to suit different parties and media.
