A professional with exemplary knowledge of Islamic finance is required for an Islamic banking role, based in Dubai, for a global management consulting firm, which advises the top management of leading companies and institutions on issues of strategy, organization, technology and operations.


The firm's mission is twofold: to help clients make positive, lasting and substantial improvements in their performance and to build a great firm that is able to attract, develop, excite and retain exceptional people.


In this role, the candidate will serve as an expert on the Middle East banking markets - with the expectation that he or she will play a central role in knowledge building, client service, and client development in the field of Islamic banking.


The knowledge expert serves as the point person of many of the core practice activities and therefore must demonstrate excellent strategic capabilities, a strong sense of entrepreneurship, and an ability to engage effectively with consultants.


Candidates should have strong experience in Islamic finance. Extensive knowledge of the banking sector - at least partly in an Arabic country - is desired, preferably in a strategy consulting firm either as a consultant or knowledge professional, an investment bank, or fund management company in the role of equity researcher or industry research specialist


Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is required.
