This pre-eminent financial advisor to companies, governments and investors from around the world is seeking an experienced Settlements Clerk.

As one of the world's leading wealth management, capital markets and advisory companies, with offices in 40 countries and territories you will become instrumental member of the Emerging Markets Settle team primarily to help with the Russian FX business. You will also be tasked with the general processing of bond trades straight through to settlement within an agreed timeframe in order to provide a high level of client service to both internal and external clients, therefore minimising risk to the firm.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

* Trade processing - Ensuring all trades input into the front end systems process correctly
And, and generate settlement instructions to the market.
* Ensuring the timely settlement of debt transactions across responsible markets.
* Ensuring cash, stock, and both Inter-company and inter-system reconciliation's are reviewed and investigated daily
* Reporting to the business on any issues or failing trades
* Investigation and analysis of settlement fines, buy-ins and borrows
* Reporting on reconciliation issues and breaks to management.
* Ensuring fail narratives are analysed and updated daily.
* Ensuring any client queries or requests are resolved in a timely and accurately manner.
* Escalation of potential risk and exposure to Supervisor/Manager timely and efficiently.


You will need a strong ability to understand and assimilate technical products and systems information in a methodical and accelerated manner. You will have a strong understanding of the bonds and debt markets.

This presents a great opportunity for a commercially minded individual to add value in a proactive relationship led organisation.
