• International Accountant (Analyst) - West End

• City of London £45,000 - £55,000 p/a Permanent

This renowned international energy company are seeking an International Accountant who will be responsible for providing technical accounting and management reporting support to the commercial activities in London. Our client is an integrated energy company with office across the globe and business lines which include wholesale power and gas supply

The key responsibilities include:
- Work with staff in other Accounting and Finance Groups, as well as Trading, Origination, Portfolio Management, Strategies, Credit, and Risk Management Groups in respect of technical accounting and tax issues.
- Analyse new or proposed deals using the pertinent technical accounting guidance under US GAAP.
- Support Portfolio Managers in preparing assumptions for projections and explanations for variances.
- Facilitate month end financial reporting.
- Assist in developing integrated management reporting and forecasting reports for both internal and corporate requirements.
- Provide meaningful and timely information to management and assist in other ad hoc analysis and special projects.

Our client is seeking a part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with either strong technical accounting skills or strong systems background seeking to complete their studies and develop there skills across the commodities market. Exposure to US GAAP will be highly desirable.
