This excellent opportunity for a Balance Sheet Substantiation - Manager has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier Investment Bank. Our client has continually broken new ground in advising our clients on strategic transactions, in pioneering the global expansion of finance and capital markets, and in providing new opportunities for individual and institutional investors.
The role will report locally into a Senior Manager responsible for other London Balance Sheet Substantiation functions. The role includes responsibility for one direct report in a team of four. The role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to use their audit, management, interpersonal, and project skills, including interaction with multiple groups across business areas and all levels up to Managing Director.
The key responsibilities for the Balance Sheet Substantiation - Manager include:
-Managing the team to deliver balance sheet substantiation to a consistently high standard for the Interest Rate, Currency and Commodities Balance Sheet Substantiation team in London, covering a range of asset classes
-Includes coordination of substantiation practices to ensure consistent control standards are
applied on a global basis
-Supporting the FCG management philosophy in delivering best practice substantiation efficiently
-Coordinating with the FCG management to deliver on key initiatives
Our client is looking for candidates who are qualified accountants with experience within the financial services industry as a product controller or in the Balance Sheet team
