Positon: Risk Manager - Fleet, Hampshire
Salary: 45,000 to 70,000

A market leader in the purchase, management and collection of both performing and sub-performing consumer debt requires a high-calibre risk manager.

The risk manager will be charged with increasing revenues and profitability of collections and debt purchase activities through predictive analysis, risk pricing, strategy and model development for unsecured and secured product lines, to support critical commercial and investment decisions.

Specific tasks include predictive pricing models for unsecured debt, embrace new techniques & data sources, and ensure accuracy of forecast curves. The risk manager will further develop model to predict actual costs, and also tracing & litigation scorecards (to improve scorecard methodology, introduce new data sources, and improve results obtained from scorecards).
The risk manager will demonstrate the ability to manage small team to maximise results achieved. This will be achieved through your excellent experience in regression analysis, decision tree and Markov chain techniques. A background in consumer finance is desirable, but not essential.
