Investigations Clerk - London


A highly prestigious global investment bank requires a diligent investigations clerk, with good experience within the financial industry.


The cash and stock investigations clerk's role is part of the middle office. It is the clerk's responsibility to ensure that client accounts are reconciled, analysed and investigated to resolve cash/stock breaks ensuring that all reconciliations are implemented accurately and in a timely manner so as to guard against any financial or reputational loss.



Responsibilities will focus on reconciliation and clearance of cash and/or stock breaks on clients' accounts. You will investigate and follow up non-receipt of funds, as well as research and correct client accounts when necessary.


You will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to deal with clients, custodians and brokers along with staff at all levels, including senior management. Previous reconciliation experience is essential.
