Business Development Manager - Central England/Midlands



A prestigious global investment firm requires a business development manager to exploit new business opportunities and achieve new business targets by promoting the group's products and services to potential clients and introducers in the allocated territory.



Main duties and responsibilities will be to identify target markets in the allocated territory and develop a sales and marketing programme to exploit these markets in the short, medium and long term. The manager will build and maintain relationships with potential and existing new business introducers, and raise the profile of the group in its niche markets and with local firms of professionals through seminars and individual presentations.



The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of the investment field, current market trends and developments, and can obtain and interpret market intelligence. Experience of working with IFAs/solicitors/accountants is required, as is private client discretionary fund management experience. The candidate will have a strong sales background in relevant field (this role will be selling to IFAs, solicitors, accountants through to high net worth clients and trust fund operators).
