Position: Commercial Account Handler - Edinburgh
Salary: £18 - £25,000

Large Insurance Broker based in Edinburgh currently requires an experienced Commercial Account Handler for their Edinburgh office. Salary £18 - £25,000 dependent on experience.

Duties will include:

Deal with new business and renewals in the core policies
Deal with telephone enquiries for new or existing business
Ensure that all communications with customers are accurately recorded
Input client/risk data to the system including renewals and endorsements
Attach correct policy wordings to schedules/reports including (exclusions, conditions, warranties etc).
Liaise with Account Executives
Liaise with Claims Handlers when appropriate.

In order to be successful you will have a good knowledge of core policies including current market conditions as well as a good understanding of FSA rules and guidelines relating to commercial and private customers. You will also have fantastic technical knowledge and experience of General Insurance and underlying legal principles.
