Assistant Fund Manager - London


A prestigious investment bank requires an assistant fund manager. The role is to assist the fund manager and/or fund director with managing day to day client relationships.


Main duties and overall responsibilities will be to assist the team's 'selling' fund director and fund managers in managing clients' portfolios in line with agreed benchmarks and restrictions. Within each asset class, the assistant fund manager will assist in the recommendation and action any changes to underlying securities and/or funds in line with appropriate models and funds buy-list


The candidate will have attained the IMC or FSA-approved qualification, (or equivalent/willingness to study and achieve within 6 months). Experience of working within the financial services sector is essential to ensure the success of this role. Desirably, the candidate will have experience in dealing, settlement and operational support functions.
