An Assistant Financial Reporting Manager is required for a premier investment organisation based in Edinburgh city centre. This role offers a highly competitive package and excellent career prospects. The Assistant Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for leading and supporting a variety of training initiatives including product changes, legislative changes and new business requirements.

The Assistant Manager will liaise with the team and external parties to identify current and future requirements, and work with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to create training that will increase knowledge within the team and reduce process risks. Training assignments may range from simple to complex.


*You will lead and support a variety of training initiatives including product changes, legislative changes and new business requirements across the teams comprising of Edinburgh, Dublin & Luxembourg.
*You will participate in training related projects and assist in the development of training materials/job aids.
*Provide training discipline and structure by producing standardised comprehensive training documentation for delivery.

This role may require occasional travel within Europe but the position will be based in Edinburgh.

Requriements

Professional qualification in finance, accounting or management (e.g. CA, ACCA, MBA),
A good understanding of Fund Accounting operations policies and controls.
Proven experience on training and development is preferred.
Candidate should have mutual fund reporting experience and experience using automated financial systems
Experience with automated financial systems, including a general ledger, is required.
Good understanding of Fund Accounting operations, policies and controls.
Experience in leading projects, mentoring, coaching and leading a team.
