Working for this client, a Global Financial Services Organisation, you would be part of a business critical team in Glasgow who are seeking talented individuals with a background in Corporate Actions at Manager level. In the is exciting new role you will be responsible for day to day management of a team :
- Ensuring all Corporate Actions Processing activity in the UK and Foreign markets in accordance with FSA and local regulatory requirements, with a focus on accurate and timely execution.
- Deliver a world class service to all clients, ensuring that enquiries are investigated and resolved within defined service level agreements.
- Collating all market intelligence in both the UK and International market
- Notifying clients of any capital reorganisations
- Collating responses and ultimately ensuring that the outturn of the capital reorganisation is distributed to clients in the form of cash or stock in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in the creation, communication and implementation of Business change initiatives in a professional and positive manner
- Managing the development of direct reports by setting and following a structured Performance Development plan.
- Conduct coaching sessions and Performance reviews, delivering strong and clear messages, ensuring completion of all documentation required and identifying individual training needs for each team member
-Undertake a range of management duties within the Corporate Actions team, ensuring the completion of all daily tasks, including complex and non routine issues.

As a Corporate Actions Manager you will provide a service to a diverse client base inclusive of Investment Managers, Private Clients and Private Banking and will ensure that all communications and reporting are tailored according to the demands of the clients and comply with regulatory obligations.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you should be an experienced manager with experience of working in a corporate actions environment. The successful candidate will have a positive can do attitude, combined with strong attention to detail and an awareness of current market issues.
